Prints on Aluminum

Aluminum prints represent a new art medium for preserving images by infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminium sheets. Because the image is infused into the surface and not on it, the image will take on an almost magical luminescence. I love the added depth that it gives to my work.

Aluminum prints are available with either a flush-mount frame and wire hanger (above) or a float-mount hanger (below left).

The flush-mount frame gives a traditional finished look and I recommended it for larger pieces. The float-mount hanger is more contemporary and allows the piece to appear as if it is floating off the wall.

Aluminum Print Care

Aluminum prints have a scratch resistant coating and waterproof surface and will last for generations when properly cared for.

Like any fine art print your aluminum print should never be exposed to direct sunlight or high outdoor temperatures for extended periods of time.  They can be cleaned easily by dusting or by using water or any commercial glass cleaner and a soft cloth.
